Bump-and-Go Patrol Motorcycle Super Series vintage 70s toy

We love coming across vintage toys and this is an excellent retro item currently available from our eBay listings.  A super cute battery operated 1970’s Patrol bike with lovely light and sound effects – the rider whistles a pretty melody while bumping-and-going along as lights spin and flash. It says “Patrol Superior” on the bike – but he’s not looking a lot like any officer of the law I’ve ever seen … maybe there’s some other type of patrol …

Excellent lightly used fully working “bump-and-go” plastic motorcycle with no damage. The ariel has bent from being in the box for such a long time but the red light on tip remains fully functional. Clean battery housing. Item comes in original good looking box showing some storage wear, tape, corner bumps etc so check photos.

Colourful bump-and-go bike can also be run standing still with wheel cover on (as in pictures and video)

Light, sound and functions:
sound of an engine starting
horn honking
rider says GO!
bike revs up
rider whistles enchanting melody as he rides along
colour changing light at the front spins
flashing light on the front and rear and ariel tip
(rear wheel arches reflect light)
bike will change direction when its path is blocked

We have a video of him working on YouTube including sections in slow motion

Text on the box reads:
Patrol High Lighting Function with the Music Super Series
You are essential to own the all of these, it can bring you the endless fun!
Ages 3 and up
HANDA with H logo and No920 Made in China can be seen on battery cover

We believe this dates to the mid 70’s but we are always very happy to be corrected 😉
